How would you describe your role?
Predominantly my role is being an Account Manager for our supplier partners, this involves regular face-to-face meetings with key stakeholders along with being the main point of contact and providing expertise for any end-user funding opportunities.
In addition to this, I work as part of a team that looks after all marketing and PR activities for SAF.
I’ve also been known to partake in the odd drilling and toilet unblocking… SAF utility man, literally!
What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy the individuality of each project and the challenges this brings. No two projects are the same we must be agile and adaptable to the differing financial drivers of the end user and our supplier partner, ensuring that any solution and structure we design meets the needs of all parties.
It can sometimes be a real challenge designing a funding package to suit everyone, but the tenacity that flows within SAF means no matter the parameters we will always reach the desired outcome for all. It’s certainly rewarding once a SAF solution gets the go-ahead.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
At the end of every day as long as you can say I did my best today, that’s all that matters.
